My presentations and workshops are mostly geared towards elementary and middle school students, but I've also spoken to high school students and aspiring writers!
Frazzled may have started with a doodle and an idea, but its path to becoming a book was full of unexpected twists and uncertainty. My presentations and workshops both touch on how the idea for Frazzled developed and the importance of just letting yourself create.
For groups 30-150
Includes: introduction to the author, how Frazzled became a book - the journey from doodles to publication, exploration into my creative process, interactive live-drawing, audience Q&A
For groups < 25
Includes: brief introduction to Frazzled, emphasis on visual literacy, development of story through doodling, behind-the-scenes peek at personal doodles/sketches, interactive live-drawing, hands-on drawing exercise, audience Q&A
I've gotten the chance to travel all over the country talking to readers about FRAZZLED. Here's a map of all the places I've visited so far!
